Associate membership is available to all other managed care companies, including BHOs and PBMs with applications to be approved by the TAHP Board of Directors. Associate members are not entitled to vote in association matters, but receive the following benefits:
- Membership in an organization with an established and positive reputation with Texas leaders, the Texas legislature, and regulatory agencies
- Ability to participate in legislative strategy meetings
- Receive position papers on key policy issues
- Receive regular updates on legislative and regulatory information
- Opportunities to meet with members of other health plans to discuss healthcare issues
